Bursting with blooms and greenery!, June 7, 2007
Submitted by Finny from San Jose, CA

"I randomly scattered these seeds around my cucumber plants early in the season just after last frost and once it started to warm up they went crazy! Now I have lots of new peachy blooms every day - enough even to toss in salads. I'll be including these in the vegetable garden in the future for sure."

Bounty in a Cage, June 11, 2007
Submitted by Oldthumbs from Northern Illinois

"I have finally found the answer to my tomato support problem. I've used stakes and have made my own tomato cages before, but I have to admit that nothing I tried has been as easy to use, has lasted as long, or has been as easy to store in the off season as these cages.

For indeterminate tomato varieties, it's almost a necessity to get the extenders, or an additional cage that you can stack on top of the first cage. I also use tent stakes to help hold the cages to the ground. While they may not be absolutely necessary, I'm a belt and suspenders type of guy.

Now that I've used these tomato cages, I would hate to have to go back to other methods."

Florida Surprise Plant, June 3, 2007
Submitted by MMR1939 from Central Florida

"In central florida, these plants gave me a big surprise. I used a liquid fertilizer and added Sea Magic to the mixture every 3 weeks.
They grew in partial shade and were so beautiful I decided to see if I could get another years growth out of them after they got straggly. In the spring, I cut the top of the plants off to within about 6" of the ground and to my GREAT SURPRISE they renewed themselves and put out as many blooms as they did the year before. Sea Magic is a good product from Burpee. You won't go wrong using it along with your regular liquid fertilizer for all your plants."

Great product!, June 4, 2007
Submitted by Katie

"These product is just wonderful. My husband, who is hard to impress, thought the quality was superb. He was able to build the planter (with coaching from me, of course :) in about an hour.
Since I wasn't sure how it would all work, and if it would be of high quality, I only bought enough for one planter, but now I'm going to buy enough to really expand my garden.
Thank you, Burpee!"

Salad for breakfast,June 7, 2007
Submitted by Finny from San Jose, CA

"One packet of these seeds has produced enough lettuce for us to have salad with dinner every night of the week! I am resowing so that we have a chance of having lettuce when the tomatoes ripen. This is a great variety of flavors - any random handful produces a beautiful and delicious salad. And so far, no bitterness or bolting. Will order again for sure. Easy from seed, just sow, water and harvest. Absolutely NO insect issues so far either."

Black Beauty Eggplant,May 28, 2007
Submitted by Amber

"I started my Black Beauty Eggplants as seeds quite unsure. I had never grown eggplant before and didn't know if I could. Within 7 days my seeds had sprouted and were on the road to success. Now 3 months later my Eggplant are doing great! About 2 1/4 feet tall and full of blooms! I have NEVER seen a pest on them and I definantly would reccomend them to a beginner!!! Thank you Burpee."

What a joy!,May 27, 2007
Submitted by Andre from New York

"I am a beginner gardener, and I decided to start some container gardening. I grew some of these morning glories, and I loved them! Since the containers are on my deck and my bedroom window is directly overhead, my flowers climbed all the way up a string trellis to my window! I kept waiting throughout the season for a bud, and it finally came! I spotted it one night, went to sleep, woke up the next morning and saw my first vibrant blue flower. It was gorgeous! I love how the blooms die off each day and new ones join their place. Highly recommended!"

Very nice, June 1, 2007
Submitted by Kat0Ninetails

"I tried these flowers from seed along with another petunia and these were easy to grow with great results. They do take a little longer to flower than the usual petunias but are well worth the wait. As a quick note to growing these make sure to give them a quick pinch at 6" to get them to flower and spread out. A great plant for a sunny spot."
