You will need a break!, October 27, 2007

"Planted one packet of seeds, and the squirrels and ground hogs got all but five plants. Thank goodness they did, because my family has been eating squash almost every night for five months. Our neighbors will not take anymore, and our families are planning an intervention!!
We recently left for a week out west, and had picked the plants clean, returned to find a dozen fully ripe fruits on just the two remaining plants.
These are amazingly prolific, wonderfully tasty and offer a true sense of what it means to grow your own. No more paying $2.00 a pound for small, scraggly, bruised squash at the supermarket. Try these and you will never buy squash again."
