The fruit is very tasty and one squash is just the right serving size for two people. For me, each plant yields two to four fruits with deep orange flesh and small seed cavity. I can get five plants in a 10' row, so that's plenty for winter storage for us. We live in a cool coastal community 3 miles from the beach with a fair amount of summer fog and this Butternut has better resistance to mildew than the larger Waltham varieties. Highly recommended!"

At their peek i was filling a reguler sized cereal bowl daily with tomatoes, and i was letting my neighbors help themselves, and there were still ripe tomatoes on the vine!! . The taste is fabulous and i used them in most meals, they froze well...what can i say?!?.. i'll buy these again this year!"

That is the first time I have ever tried it, instead of just planting the seed outside. I couldn't believe how easy they were to grow!! I had no trouble with them in any way. When they were big enough, I transplanted them outside. They grew bigger then what the package stated. The colors were exactly what they were supposed to be, a whole mix. They tolerated the hot summer & the strong winds we get (we live on top a hill, by an open field). The butterflies were crazy about them!! We saw butterflies we have never seen before! My daughter loves them & the butterflies, so we we plant them every year & add more to the other side of our garden. Definatley buy these if you want a butterfly garden & a lot of rich beautiful color. Not to mention how hardy & easy they are to grow & keep!!"

It gives off a great yield with beautiful uniform deep orange color. Never had a problem with disease or blossom end rot. I plant a variety of tomatoes every year but look forward to these the most. Can eat them plain with a bit of salt for a great healthy snack. Come out a beautiful orange color when dried in the dehydrator. Almost tastes like a dried apricot when dried."

For the beginner to the expert it's an amazing product. If you're serious about seed starting as I am you may want to purchase a temperature regulator for this mat along with any others. The speed in germination is awesome and it works very well with growing on seedlings. I have 6 of these mats I use for seed starting and even use them in my greenhouse during the cold winter months to help regulate temperatures of my vegetables."

They eat the kale and other greens I plant, that i will not use, and it works like a charm! I do not plant the greens that close as the bunnies will wonder, but if you place them far enough away, the bunnies will stop at the first available food. And if the greens are tall enough and placed closely enough, as to act like a living "fence", the rabbits will not jump over them. They would rather dig 3 feet than to jump 1 foot. Stupid huh?"
