Submitted by Timothy from Southwest Oklahoma "Wall-o-waters can allow for earlier planting as advertised, however, they serve their best purpose as a physical barrier and protector of plants. I would use them even if I planted after the last frost. Animals won't trample plants. Wind won't bother plants. I use them in conjunction with classic three ring metal stakes and burpee tomato cages and have never had a plant die for any reason prior to October. You'll want to use paper or mulch for weed prevention because you can't weed easily once the plant reaches a certain size." |
