Submitted by Golf from Michigan "I bought and started growing this 2 years ago. Unlike a lot of plants labeled "attracts hummingbirds", this really does! Of all the different plants in my hummingbird garden last year, this was the only plant I saw a hummingbird check out. So much for the myth that hummingbirds are only attracted to red flowers! Has beautiful flowers and beautiful rich green foliage. With regular watering you'll have a small bush by fall. Very easy to grow! Seems to prefer morning sun and late-afternoon/evening shade. The only downsides are it's an annual and where I live, the brick and mortar nurseries that carry it are very limited (as in ONE, but only IF they get it in!)" |
