If you don't like the chore of cleaning out the seeds this plant is for you. It even did well during a drought and I could only water once every other week." |

Submitted by NJTomatoman from Northern NJ "I've tried quite a few live plant varities offered by Burpee. All things considered, Super Tasty, along with Big Beef, is the best medium tomato for me. Super Tasty is a strong and prolific producer. The fruit is picture perfect and has outstanding taste. Given other reviews of Super Tasty, it's worth adding that any variety of tomato plant can contract a bout of blossom end rot. With proper watering, plenty of calcium in the fertilizer and staking the plants tightly, blossom end rot usually can be prevented. Nonetheless, too much rain at the wrong time, particularly accompanied by high winds, can cause blossom end rot anyway. That's just bad luck." |

Submitted by Raemar from Williamsport, Pa "I live in Pa. and have these flowers in front of my house in full sun. The ones from this year are approximately 6 to7 feet tall. I'm 5 feet tall and these are conciderably over my head. The flowers are still blooming (it's mid Oct.) and we've had frost. I don't know if I've just picked the right spot, but these flowers don't quit. Next year I'm adding some of the other varieties of cosmos and see how they do. Wouldn't start the spring without planting these seeds!!! " |

Submitted by Anonymous Reviewer from Deep in the Midwest "I got five with speckles in spite of a low germination rate, probably due to the crazy weather we had Deep in the Midwest in 2008. Had a yellow with red speckles, a red with yellow stripes, and a white with purple blotches, and a few others not so colorful. I'd expect some single colors in harlequin mixes like this. I'll definitely try it again!" |

I'm very pleased at how sturdy the cages were (so much better then the flimsy round cone ones from the local hardware store). My plants got huge (over 6 feet tall) and had dozens of tomatoes on them at all times and these cages never bent, flexed, or tipped over. I'll be using these year after year! Oh, and the tomato cage extenders are a necessity!" |

When the garlic arrived from Burpee, I received more then I could use, so I shared the extra's with my sister-in-law who is also a backyard farmer. She also had great success growing these this past year. Every clove that I pealed from the larger bulb grew - every one! When I harvested them in the late summer, they grew into golf ball size bulb that packs a lot of flavor. I have shared my harvest with friends, family and neighbors and everyone has commented on how much they loved the fresh garlic. Give this a try, you will not be disappointed." |
