Use as a deterent, February 8, 2008
Submitted by bullbleu from Indiana

"I use this crop as a "safety fence" around my large garden to keep rabbits and other animals from entering my garden. They eat the kale and other greens I plant, that i will not use, and it works like a charm! I do not plant the greens that close as the bunnies will wonder, but if you place them far enough away, the bunnies will stop at the first available food. And if the greens are tall enough and placed closely enough, as to act like a living "fence", the rabbits will not jump over them. They would rather dig 3 feet than to jump 1 foot. Stupid huh?"

Couldn't believe how much broccoli I got!, December 31, 2007
Submitted by Anonymous Reviewer from Geneseo, NY

"This was my first attempt at broccoli. I had always thought for some reason that broccoli was very hard to grow. After watching my friend grow some, I thought I'd at least give it a try. I grew 6 plants in my garden and I got SO MUCH BROCCOLI! Way more than my friend got with her generic brand of seed. I got one enormous head per plant, and then a large side shoot after side shoot after side shoot. My broccoli produced even after our first hard frost! I did nothing to it, other than to water well, and to put fertilizer in the garden soil before planting. And, to top it all, this was the most delicious broccoli I'd ever had! Eating store brand now is so tasteless! We froze some, but loved it so much that we ate most of our crop before we had a chance to freeze it, and the bit we did freeze, we devoured after the fisrt month!! Next year, much more broccoli in the garden!"

Still producing!, November 14, 2007
Submitted by WillyNilly from Chicago Illinios

"It's November 14th and I am still harvesting this wonderful lettuce mix! With a fairly mild fall so far my fall season has been extended. Fall is a great time to plant this mix. Seems like it's a little better in fall. I have been enjoying fresh lettuce since early September. I highly recommend this mesclun mix. I don't think enough people grow lettuce. It's a great return on investment as lettuces can be pricey. Can't wait to grow again next year!"

just great, October 14, 2007
Submitted by ox1111

"This broccoli is pretty fool proof. plant it and it will grow. After the main head it will make an amazing amount of side shoots. This broccoli cooks much faster than store bought and the flavor is great.
If you have insect problems this plant can take a large loss of foliage and still produce, so if ground hogs or insects chew up your plants don't rip them out they more than likely will produce."

BEST SPROUTS, October 17, 2007
Submitted by stamper from Butler, PA

"I have been growing Brussels Sprouts for four years now. I have tried Jade Cross, Long Island Improved, and Tasty Nuggets. Tasty Nuggets far surpasses the others for size and taste. The plants are five to five and a half feet tall with loads of large sprouts. I have been harvesting for about 12 weeks and are still going strong at the end of October. I will definitely plant Tasty Nuggets again next year."

easy easy easy., July 2, 2007
Submitted by Kat0Ninetails

"I've grown these with other peas two years now and these are just idiot proof. I'm pretty sure as long as you remember to water and provide them a decent fence these will grow in just about any soil will result in some pods. One packet of these resulted in a 15 foot row. Great yield which still isn't complete as I write this and has great flavor."

Salad for breakfast,June 7, 2007
Submitted by Finny from San Jose, CA

"One packet of these seeds has produced enough lettuce for us to have salad with dinner every night of the week! I am resowing so that we have a chance of having lettuce when the tomatoes ripen. This is a great variety of flavors - any random handful produces a beautiful and delicious salad. And so far, no bitterness or bolting. Will order again for sure. Easy from seed, just sow, water and harvest. Absolutely NO insect issues so far either."
