Prolific Snow Pea, June 8, 2008
Submitted by CAGardener from Northern CA

"This pea is very easy to grow and produces like a champ. This summer (2008) I planted a packet left over from last year's order, and had great succes. Just harvested enough today (June 7) for dinner from a planting done in mid-April. I also like the fact that this is a dwarf version, as I can combine it with other veggies in my raised beds and not have too much trouble with the vines shading my other plants. You have to try this pea!"

My only 5 leaves rated product (so far), April 4, 2008
Submitted by LakeErieGarden from Lorain, OH

"I don't think I have given a "five leaf" rating to any vegetable or herb as there is always something. Some things are a 5 for taste but only a 3 or 4 for productivity. Well I started using this about two years ago after growing peas and beans for years with decent to great productivity but this stuff really, really helps boost it just as it says it does. My pea plants and beans would be productive but this stuff turns productive into loaded. I soak the beans and peas in warm water then roll them around in this stuff to coat them, plant them with a little more sprinkled in and BAM! It is really pretty cheap too for what you get. I buy the little package off the Burpee rack and it is more than sufficient for the home gardener."

Heavy crop and excellent flavor, , February 26, 2008

"Wouldn't plant any other variety. These are sugar sweet even after being frozen for 6-8 months. When the vines start producing you will need to pick them twice per week. I plant two rows about a foot apart and trelless them on 4' wire fabric fence. Makes picking very easy and keeps the vines healthy. Use the "booster" Burpee sells for peas/beans or buy bean "innoculant" from a farm supply store."

"We can never save enough for freezing because the whole family eats them right out of the garden. Easy to grow and fantastic sweet flavor."

Finally! Found the one., November 21, 2007
Submitted by LakeErieGarden from Lorain, OH

"I have been experimenting with different peas for a few years now and this is the one that gets the real estate in my garden from now on. This is much better than the Super Snappy which I did not like even as much as the Sugar Snap. They engineered this one right on the money."

easy easy easy., July 2, 2007

"I've grown these with other peas two years now and these are just idiot proof. I'm pretty sure as long as you remember to water and provide them a decent fence these will grow in just about any soil will result in some pods. One packet of these resulted in a 15 foot row. Great yield which still isn't complete as I write this and has great flavor."
