The Best Pepper there Is!!!, July 30, 2008
Submitted by BigFish from Maryland's Eastern Shore

"Great seed germination, fast growing sturdy plants. Large elongated fruits that are good sliced for salads, our favorite pickler ever. Crisp and Juicy flesh with thin skins for grilling. Freezes well in yellow, orange and red stages for stir fry's and fajitas. Very prolific with some plants having a dozen peppers at a time."

Super Sweet Gourmet, May 22, 2008
Submitted by hungarianharvester from Southern New Jersey

"What can I say? I just sowed these seeds for the third year in a row. Not only are they the most proliflict summer squash I have ever grown but the taste is superb! I average 15 to 25 fruit per plant. I harvest from late June until September. If you like them fried, baked, steamed or grilled they are perfect! They are excellent for zuchini bread as well. For my money ten times better then the standard dark green zuke. I grow many vegetables and fruit. I love them all. If I had to only choose one to grow for the rest of my life it would be the sweet gourmet summer squash. Hands down the best....."

EASY! and TASTY!, January 30, 2008
Submitted by queendeej from Bonaire, GA

"I definitely recommend this for beginner container gardeners! It was too easy. I planted seeds outside in Mid May and by early July I had several pale green peppers that eventually changed to gold, then orange, then red. They were sweet when ripe and tasted delicious on everything-especially frozen cheese pizzas."

The best sweet corn I've grown!, January 20, 2008
Submitted by MNGardener from Southern Minnesota

"This corn is absolutely delicious. We had about 8 5ft rows and unfortunately the bunnies got about a 1/3 of them, but what we harvested was amazing. We grilled them on a gas grill (when having hamburgers topped with the "sweet tangerine tomatoes" - also excellent) and they were perfect. Nice sized ears with kernels all they way to the end. We'll double the corn space in the garden in 2008 and fence it well so the bunnies don't get any sweet corn!!"

Slow and steady won our hearts, October 27, 2007
Submitted by Tut3d from Ellicott City, MD

"Tried these as an alternative to regular sized peppers. Ordered a set of three plants, and placed in a little used corner of my patch. Plants set fruit right away, but consistently dropped them. Just about to give up on them, when late in the season, BOOM! Plants doubled in size, and I began taking fully ripe baby bells off 8-10 at a time, most even bigger than the photo! Stuffed them with some ground lamb and feta, paired with a fresh tomato and cucumber salad, some Cypriot white wine and fresh raspberries from my bushes, and friends and family seemed to spend more time at our house.. Hmm I wonder why? Try these little wonders, you will not regret it. I still have enough from three plants that I am going to pickle them."

Beautiful color, flavorful, and very prolific, October 8, 2007
Submitted by Jefferson

"Three plants produced a huge number of peppers and are still producing here in Maryland in October. They are the perfect size for making mini-stuffed peppers for appetizers and we used them in salads all summer. The plants did not get very tall, but rather spread out along the ground."

Best Peppers, September 30, 2007
Submitted by Helen from Philadelphia, PA

"I do my gardening in containers on my deck. I purchased the 3-plant set instead of seeds. Each plant produced many peppers. The production slowed down a bit during the extremely hot weather but quickly picked up when the temps became more bearable for plants, animals, and humans alike. Most peppers grew as described in the catalog - some grew a little curled but still very edible. The flavor of this pepper (and any homegrown produce) can't be beat, especially compared to the produce sitting in the grocery stores."

Amazing overall!!, August 30, 2007
Submitted by gordylynn

"We cannot get over the size and taste of this pepper!! One pepper goes a long-g-g way and tastes so-o-o pleasant! We are even using it in our homemade spaghetti sauce and just love it! We are so sold on the Marconi pepper, as we are on other Burpee products that we have purchased. We are first time Indiana customers and will be now every year to come!!"
